Chapter History
Xi Chapter was founded in 1938 as part of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. For generations, our members have supported one another through mentorship, scholarship, and shared commitment to excellence in education.
Our Mission
To promote professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. We honor key women educators, advance the status of women, and provide scholarships to women preparing for careers in education.

DKG International
The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is a professional honor society of women educators founded in 1929. With members in 17 countries, DKG promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Xi Chapter is one of thousands of local chapters carrying out that mission in our community.
